Sofa beds usually ship with a pretty thin mattress as standard so replacement mattresses are pretty important purchases. often the standard mattress will be reasonable to start with but quickly becomes uncomfortable before becoming actually unusable.

A word of caution however, when looking to buy a replacement for your sofa bed mattress you should be careful to remember the limitations presented by the type of sofa bed you own, for instance if yours is the type with a metal sprung frame that folds away with the mattress in place then you will have to make sure the one you buy is capable of folding to that degree with a modicum of ease.

However if you have the foam fold out type of sofa bed, you may just look to get a memory foam mattress topper or even just a normal topper to bring it up to the standard you require. Likewise there will be limitations on the depth of any sofa bed replacement mattress unless of course your bed is folded out permanently, you are probably better to stick to those designed for sofa beds.
